COVID-19 POLICY FOR EUO CHAPTER EVENTS

With the Sorority resuming more in-person activities and operations alongside COVID-19, we must remain vigilant and take steps to support health and safety. Therefore, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated has approved an updated COVID-19 policy, which is effective immediately.

The updated policy to help protect each member and others as we continue to open operations is:

• Masks are optional, not required. However, strongly recommended. 

Although COVID-19 is not eradicated, the use of vaccines and boosters has tremendously reduced the risk of severe illness. However, COVID-19 and its variants continue to pose a risk to all of us.

In addition to following the sorority’s policy, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, immediately test using a rapid self-test at home or a laboratory test at your local pharmacy. If you test positive, please do not attend events and follow guidelines from the CDC for isolation and quarantine protocols. For more information, visit www.cdc.gov.
